An unexpected beauty exists along the rural roadways of Saskatchewan. There is the beauty of a broad ever-changing sky of course, and the wide expansive landscape for that ever-changing sky to rest upon. But for me beauty also exists in the plant life that grows along the roadside. The beauty of life thriving in the form of a myriad of plants growing unplanned and often unwanted along the narrow terrain of linear miles of fence line. FENCELINE is an ongoing series of mixed media pieces exploring a personal fascination with the special ecosystems that dwell along prairie roads.
